The South Aegean Region, in collaboration with FedHATTA, organized a webinar to present Rhodes to Israeli travel agents.

As part of the comprehensive promotion plan of the South Aegean Region, which is targeted for each market and each island separately, the presentation of Rhodes in the tourist market of Israel took place last week, following the presentation of Kos on May 26.

This is a collaboration between the South Aegean Region,  FedHATTA, and the Association of Tourist Offices of Israel: ITTAA. Konstantinos Taraslias, Deputy Mayor of Tourism Development, made the presentation of Rhodes, which was attended by travel agents and tour operators from Israel.

The Israeli travel professionals had the opportunity to learn useful information about Rhodes, a very popular destination for Israelis, its notable sights, its long and interesting history, and all the many ways a traveler can enjoy a stay on the island. They were also informed about the current health and safety measures due to the pandemic.

The webinar was followed up with an informative newsletter, distributed to all participants and all members of ITTAA. This makes the presentation and the follow-up material available to all the members of ITTAA, including those who were unable to attend the live event.
