FedHATTA and HATTA welcomed the Head of the Kosovo Interest Office in Athens, Fitim Gllareva, for an official working meeting held on October 30, 2025, at the offices of the Federation and Association in Athens.

The meeting aimed to broaden the prospects for enriching the organized tour packages offered in Greece with new destinations, while simultaneously exploring opportunities for tourist mobility from Greece to Kosovo through new synergies and joint initiatives in the travel agency sector.

Lysandros Tsilidis, President of FedHATTA, highlighted the strategic importance of cooperation between the travel agencies of the two countries, emphasizing that organized and institutional networking is fundamental for developing stable and productive relationships in tourism. He stated, “Collaboration among tourism professionals is a prerequisite for mutual development and strengthening regional tourism dynamics.”
As part of planning this strategy, it was proposed to schedule a special event during the Philoxenia exhibition to sign a cooperation agreement between FedHATTA and the Kosovo Tourism Association as a first step towards closer collaboration. Mr. Tsilidis added: “Our goal is to further develop activities between the travel agencies of both countries and contribute to promoting each country’s tourism packages.”
