Tourist offices strengthen the opening of Greek tourism to the Indian market
During the exhibition, Greek travel agencies held targeted business meetings with tour operators and representatives from the Indian tourism industry and from the wider region. The aim was to showcase the multifaceted Greek tourism product, with an emphasis on culture, gastronomy, luxury and thematic tourism, as well as options for personalized high-value travel.
This year’s OTM exhibition hosted over 2,200 exhibitors from more than 60 countries, with the participation of over 45 national tourism organizations and more than 30 destinations represented exclusively at this event.
Furthermore, the exhibition is estimated to have attracted over 50,000 professional visitors from the tourism sector, as well as more than 1,000 hosted and VIP buyers, gathering the global tourism ecosystem at a time when India is emerging as a strategically important market in global tourism.
