On Wednesday, March 13, the president of FedHATTA as well as representatives from its member tourist agencies, had the opportunity to get to know Lithuania as an ideal tourist destination for Greek travelers, at the event “Discover Lithuania: A Virtual Journey to the Heart of the Baltic Beauty,” organized by the Embassy of Lithuania in Greece.

The potential for increased tourism flows between Greece and Lithuania is getting a boost, with Aegean Airlines starting new direct flights between Athens and Vilnius, officially announced during the event. The online presentation highlighted the rich attractions, culture, and modern tourist infrastructure of Lithuania.

Lysandros Tsilidis, President of FedHATTA, stated: “Continuing our cooperation with the Lithuanian embassy, we attended a presentation, which left the best impression on the tourist agencies, as it is an initiative to further strengthen the outbound and inbound tourism of Greece. Now with a short direct flight, the two countries have the possibility to increase their tourist flow.”
